Achieves “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®”

BERLIN, Germany, September 26, 2006 - Agile
Software Corporation (Nasdaq: AGIL), a leading
provider of product lifecycle management (PLM)
solutions, today announced that its Agile
9.2 PLM solution has obtained “Powered
by SAP NetWeaver®” certification.
Specifically, Agile 9.2 achieved “Powered
by SAP NetWeaver®” certification
on the J2EE Deployment (J2EE-DEP) and SAP
NetWeaver Portal Business Package (EP-BP)
components. During the certification of the
J2EE-DEP, SAP verified that the Agile 9.2
PLM application is “J2EE Specification
compliant” and can be deployed and run
on the J2EE Engine of SAP NetWeaver Application
Server. In Enterprise Portal 6.0, the certification
scenario for portlet integration, the Agile
developed PLM iViews were shown compliant.
Additionally, the EP-BP certification verified
the structure and the deployment of a “Business
Package” developed and delivered by
Agile “Achieving “Powered by SAP
NetWeaver®” certification will benefit
Agile customers who have decided to implement
SAP’s Enterprise Service Architecture
and the NetWeaver platform,” said Chris

our common customers, resulting in offering
Agile’s industry best practice PLM solutions,
co-existent with SAP solutions. Development
of pre-packaged, certified applications dramatically
