Named
one of the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work
for (2004), our client, a global leader in
Business Performance Management (BPM) software,
provides solutions and services through a
network of more than 600 partners in 90+ countries.
. Using its solutions, customers can organize
and analyze data—then distribute it
enterprise-wide through a rich, unified workspace
that makes business performance management
easier and more powerful than ever before.
Its solutions help drive performance improvements
by aligning goals with metrics, increasing
operational efficiency and ensuring the integrity
of numbers. The Challenge
The client needed to establish a center in
which to test its products on the SAP platform.
It required SAP Business Information Warehouse
(BW) installation and the ability to perform
complex, high-volume performance testing and
fine tuning. The client also wanted its testing
service vendor to procure and host the testing
infrastructure. The Solution
Bristlecone Labs is experienced in procuring,
configuring and hosting SAP BW systems. For
this client, we defined comprehensive test
data to ensure rigorous performance testing
of the product set on the SAP BW and R/3 platforms—adding
value to test scenarios and plans. We also
used live data from complex environments to
address practical complexities. A well-established
test cycle put in place across the two companies
was seamlessly implemented for software releases.
On the project management front, Bristlecone
Labs delivered high quality coordination,
efficient execution and comprehensive consulting.
Client Impact
The client views Bristlecone as a seamless
extension of its operations that enables product
quality improvement. In addition, the client
receives constructive feedback based on the
functional expertise of the Bristlecone team.
Finally, the live data provided by Bristlecone
enables testing complex scenarios. |
